As someone more than 1/4 Irish, I feel like I should celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. But our family never got into it. I guess my Irish grandmother didn’t make it a tradition and so it never got developed. I’m not one for bar-hopping anyway, so perhaps it’s just as well.

I know I did a carnival roundup on Friday, but there were a number of good posts that weren’t in carnivals and I was too tired to include them then (plus a few hadn’t been written). So I ask you to forgive this second roundup…there’s quality stuff.

• Clever Dude and his wife are trying to figure out if they can make it on one income. They probably can, while she leaves a toxic (ish) workplace and starts up her own nutrition consulting. Sounds like a good idea.
• Speaking of nutritionist wives, while many of you have heard of Cash Money Life, you may not have heard of his wife Nutrition Fitness Life. She posted some great reflections on weight and health this week. Appreciating what we have is very much on my mind right now.
• RacerX wonders if Suze Orman’s advice is too basic. But maybe it’s as basic as some people need. And Randall at Credit Withdrawal is afraid she’s brainwashed his wife.

And then from the M-Network specifically:

• Plonkee’s gotten the money back from her Kiva loan and is going to reinvest it in Kiva again. That’s what I love about Kiva…
• PaidTwice is learning to live with balance…which is hard for her.
• Lynnae wrote about all things working together for good for them. It’s quite inspiring.
• David’s Money Mistake Monday topic was owing more than your car is worth. I’m glad to say that our car is theoretically worth more than we owe.
• Gibble wrote why he thinks P2P lending is a bad idea.
• Then Pinyo responded with some good points of P2P lending.
• Single Guy Money isn’t worried anymore about his home value anymore.
• I think this is a fascinating post, but I know not everyone will be as excited–Dough Roller gives an overview of the main points of the Credit Card Reform Act of 2008 and then his thoughts. It’s like laws for dummies…and as complicated as modern laws are, that’s about all most of us can handle.
• And for more fun money news, there’s a new $5 bill out. Patrick at Cash Money Life posted pics and facts. So far, none have crossed my palm.
