St. Paddy’s Day Roundup

March 16th, 2008 · roundup · 4 Comments

As someone more than 1/4 Irish, I feel like I should celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. But our family never got into it. I guess my Irish grandmother didn’t make it a tradition and so it never got developed. I’m not one for bar-hopping anyway, so perhaps it’s just as well.

I know I did a carnival roundup on Friday, but there were a number of good posts that weren’t in carnivals and I was too tired to include them then (plus a few hadn’t been written). So I ask you to forgive this second roundup…there’s quality stuff.

And then from the M-Network specifically:

So happy St. Patrick’s day., everyone, and many happy returns.

Thanks for the link! It will be interesting to see what Congress does with these two credit card bills.

If it makes you feel any better, I’m more than half Irish (and entitled to Irish citizenship), have always lived in places with a large Irish population, and still haven’t got into St Patrick’s Day.

Thanks for the link btw. ;)

The jig is up! I can no longer hide! ;)
Really, though, thanks for the mention. I do appreciate it very much!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you!!! :)

If it helps, I am N. Irish and St Patrick’s Day isn’t a very big deal where I come from, no parades, no dying things green, it is however a day off work, so I am very jealous of my parents and brother today!
