Oprah Giving Away a Free Suze Orman Book (ends 2/14 8pm CST)

February 13th, 2008 · 4 Comments

Edit:This giveaway has now ended. But perhaps Oprah and Suze will do another one someday!

Thanks to Madame X for the heads-up on this. Suze Orman has been on Oprah recently and now Oprah is giving away a free PDF download of her new book Women and Money until 2/14 at 8pm Central Standard Time.

This link takes you to the download page, just scroll down and choose the English option. You need free Adobe reader to read it, of course.
You can keep the book on your computer, print it, whatever. She just asks that you don’t send it to other people. While the book is for women, it might be useful for men to read it as well—so they understand the pressures, etc, for women in their lives.

I got my copy, though I don’t plan to read it quite yet.

I downloaded this book for my wife last night (her computer was having some issues), and we were trying to calculate how much money Orman is essentially giving away with this offer. It’s staggering, and it leads me to the conclusion that this lady walks her walk. She really cares about whether or not women understand money, investments, insurance, and credit (et cetera). Color me impressed.
