Speaking of Carnivals, I never did get around to mentioning the Carnival of Financial Goals last week with Lynnae of Being Frugal. And Sam too!
Lots of great goals and from Millionaire Money Habits there was an excellent article on 30 days to having your own millionaire money habits.
Over at PaidTwice, we’ve been following her car repair saga. I think she’s doing an excellent job of trying to get Saturn to compensate them for some of the repair costs. So far, though, no dice. But she’s going to keep trying!
Remember my piece on your spouse breaking the budget? Lily at The Honest Dollar wrote a guest post this week on Millionaire Mommy Next Door’s site about financial cheating.
Kacie of Sense to Save wants to know if you shop your menu or stock your pantry? Or something else?
As for me, Saturday is one of my busiest days of the week (oh sweet irony) so I might be working with babies or books or resting afterwards…depending on how late you got up and went through your reader. I’m also in the middle of an unhealthy Buffy the Vampire Slayer marathon after borrowing a few seasons from friends. It’s just so addictive!
And in good news for the site, mrsmicah.com now has “page rank.” Yay!

If you’re watching Buffy, how do you tear yourself away long enough to do a roundup? That show destroyed my Tuesday evenings for years. Even “Angel” kept me hooked. I even have the first four seasons of Buffy on VHS, the only TV series I’ve ever “bought”. I used to make people tape it for me if I was on a business trip. I was sick.
That show is probably the reason I refuse now to “get into” other serials. Everyone tells me “you gotta see Heroes!” and I say “you don’t understand - I’ve got a problem!”
Ah, the Buffyverse. I wish I was as cool as Spike…without the fear of garlic, though.

Speaking of Buffy, have you seen “Firefly” also by Joss Whedon? It’s another great series and there are only 14 episodes, so it can’t lead to addiction.

OK, to further continue demonstrating my mancrush on Joss, I got the Firefly discs on Netflix. Hated it. Completely hated it. I couldn’t figure it out, because it’s the same snappy stuff, but I just didn’t like it. It might have been the lack of vampires.

Aaahhh! Buffy! I think buying the complete series is one of the most frivolous things I’ve ever done, but it’ll pay off one day. Next time I take a sick day, I suppose.
